The moment I realized autoplay was making me hate my own playlists

I've been blaming Spotify's shuffle algorithm for like 3 months, saying it was pushing me into this weird music rut where every song felt samey. Then last Friday I was driving home from Raleigh and I noticed that after my playlist ended, the autoplay kept going into this 'suggested for you' mix. I caught myself raging at a song I actually liked, then I realized it wasn't my playlist at all, autoplay had taken over without me noticing. Checked my settings and sure enough, autoplay was on, it's been blending my stuff with their picks the whole time. I turned it off and my playlists feel right again. How many of y'all have caught autoplay inserting stuff and then blamed your own taste or the algorithm for something that was a setting you forgot about?
