The one thing that got me to stop doomscrolling job boards

I was convinced those algorithm-driven job boards just shuffle the same 50 listings around, but then I tried filtering by posting date only and sorting by oldest first. It exposed a ton of roles that had been buried for weeks, including one that matched my skills exactly. I applied to that one and got an interview in 3 days, which never happened with the 'recommended for you' feed. Is anyone else finding that messing with the sort order beats trusting the smart defaults?
