I used to spend hours building the perfect mixtape, but now I just let the app pick and it keeps serving up stuff I never would have found on my own. Last week in my kitchen in Portland it queued up three songs in a row that felt like they were reading my mind, and I had this weird mix of comfort and creepiness. Has anyone else felt that shift from being the DJ to just being the audience, and does it bother you or do you just go with it?
