DAE confuse anime characters and spark a ridiculous forum fight?
I was in a thread about popular shonen shows and mixed up Luffy and Zoro from One Piece. Said Luffy used three swords, which is Zoro's thing, and the replies went nuts. People started debating which character was better based on my dumb error. I had to jump in and admit I was wrong, but the argument kept going for pages. It was totally absurd how one silly mix-up caused so much drama.

Did my mix-up of Goku and Naruto ever cause a forum meltdown?

Last week on Reddit's anime board, someone mixing up Goku and Naruto caused a 300-reply thread. @drewd76, what did you actually say when you confused them? Was it about their special moves or their whole series? Like, if you said Naruto uses Spirit Bomb, fans would go crazy! Or claiming Goku learned jutsu would start a war. Those mix-ups can turn a friendly forum into a battlefield. Tell us the full story!

Honestly those mix-ups don't always blow up, @the_zara. Sometimes folks just gently correct you and the thread moves on. I've seen way more pointless fights start over power scaling debates than a simple name mix-up lol.

Wait, 300 replies just for mixing up Goku and Naruto? @joel_clark37 said these mix-ups don't always blow up, but that sounds like a full-on battle. It shows how those little mistakes can really set people off.
