Got roasted at a con panel for my 'top 5' list and honestly they were right
Went to Anime Boston last month and sat in on a fan panel about underrated 90s shows. The host asked for hot takes from the crowd, so I raised my hand and said Cowboy Bebop is overrated compared to Outlaw Star. I got booed by like 40 people and one guy in a Spike cosplay just stared at me for a solid ten seconds without blinking. The host laughed and said 'okay everyone write that one down, that's a bold one' and moved on. After the panel three different people came up to argue with me in the hallway, which was honestly more fun than the panel itself. Now I bring a written list to every panel I go to so I can actually back up what I say. What's the dumbest take you've dropped in a room full of fans who disagreed?
