Had to pick between sub and dub for Attack on Titan finale

I spent 3 hours last Tuesday arguing with myself over whether to watch the final episode in sub or dub. I went with sub because I heard the voice acting hit harder. Halfway through I realized I was reading subtitles instead of watching the fight scenes and I missed a major character death. Now I'm wondering if I should rewatch the whole thing in dub. Has anyone else regretted their choice on a big finale?

Sub is the way to go but you gotta rewatch it for sure.

My first sub watch I spent half the time looking at my phone and missed like three plot twists. Second time around I actually caught the character names and felt like a genius for figuring out the ending early. Third rewatch is just for the memes at this point honestly.

The exact same thing happened to me with the AoT finale, man. I picked sub because everyone online swore it was better, but I felt like I was speed reading instead of actually watching the show. I missed Levi's big scene completely because I was staring at the bottom of the screen. Honestly, I ended up rewatching the whole thing in dub two days later and it felt like a totally different experience. Ngl, sometimes you just gotta trust what lets you actually enjoy the show without fighting with subtitles.
