Hit episode 1000 on my rewatch list and it forced me to realize I have no life lmao

Was just casually scrolling through my MyAnimeList and saw the number 1000 pop up which means I sat through 1000 episodes of anime I already watched which is like 2 years of my life gone, has anyone else ever done the math on their total watch time and felt sick?

Yeah, but it's still better than doomscrolling through real life.

Wilson is right though. Doomscrolling through Twitter or Reddit is way worse. At least with anime you're following a story with characters and emotion. You remember the good moments. I can't remember a single thing I learned from 2 hours of scrolling my phone. 1000 episodes means you probably hit some all time greats too. That's time well spent compared to watching the news cycle repeat itself every day.
