Just realized that guy who said 'skip the recap episodes' was totally right

I was watching Bleach a few months back and someone on here told me to just skip all the filler and recap episodes. I thought nah, I want the full experience. After 3 weeks of watching like 15 episodes that were mostly flashbacks to stuff I already saw, I finally gave up. I went back and checked and that person had a whole list of episodes to skip. Would have saved me about 12 hours if I'd just listened. Anyone else ever fight against good advice like that and regret it?

BLEACH has like 40% filler, you poor thing.

Does that 40% count actually include the bount arc though? That one alone drags the average way up (and honestly feels like it goes on forever).

The filler number gets thrown around a lot but it's actually closer to 45-50 percent if you count the bount arc and the zanpakuto rebellion stuff. Bleach ran for like 366 episodes and a good chunk of that is original content that didn't happen in the manga. The bount arc alone is like 60 episodes of people chasing a doll. At least Naruto's filler arcs were shorter and easier to skip.
