My rewatch of 'Cowboy Bebop' just hit episode 20, which is the exact number of times I've seen my friend's cat.

It made me realize how much more I notice in the background details on each viewing, like the graffiti in the Alba City scenes.

Ever get lost in the details? I just write down the big rules first, then fill in the rest later. It keeps me from getting stuck.

Reminds me of my friend who overplanned her whole novel outline.

@jackson.faith I actually disagree on that. The graffiti in Alba City is a good example of how the small details can build the whole mood without needing a rulebook first. Sometimes you have to get lost in the mess to find the story.
