Pro tip: I used to watch new anime episodes on my phone during lunch, but a coworker said 'You're missing the whole POINT of the animation on that tiny screen.'

I switched to watching on my tablet at home after work for a month, and the difference in catching background details in shows like Spy x Family is HUGE. Anyone else have a simple change that massively improved their viewing?

Ever think about how screen size changes what we even notice as a "detail"? On my phone, I'd watch for the main action. But on a bigger screen, my eyes wander. In Spy x Family, I started seeing all the funny shop signs in the background or the changing posters on walls. It makes the world feel alive in a way I just glossed over before. What's a background detail that made you laugh once you finally saw it?

Remember when everyone used to watch movies on those portable DVD players with the tiny screens? I tried rewatching Princess Mononoke on one years later and realized I had missed half the forest spirits. Sometimes you don't know what you're missing until you see it bigger.
