Six episodes is a big ask when the show isn't even giving you a reason to keep going. I sat through a whole season of one last year just because my friends would not stop talking about it, and by the end I was mad at myself for wasting the time. The worst part is when you can see the good idea buried under all the shortcuts they took. Like someone had a cool world in mind but then just copy pasted the same plot beats from ten other shows. You are not wrong for feeling let down, the genre really did get comfortable and stopped trying.
