Spent $60 on a Crunchyroll subscription last year and barely used it

Man I feel that. I dropped $60 on a yearly Crunchyroll sub back in January and I think I opened the app maybe five times total. Every time I logged in I couldn't find anything new I actually wanted to watch so I just gave up. My queue is full of shows I started and never finished. Now I'm just letting that subscription money rot while I scroll past the Crunchyroll icon on my phone every day. You're definitely not alone on that one.

My buddy Kevin bought a year of Funimation back in 2020 and he legit forgot about it for 14 months. He only noticed when his bank sent him a fraud alert for a random $80 charge and he was like "oh yeah I have anime streaming." By that point he had paid like $160 total and watched maybe three episodes of One Punch Man. He still hasn't cancelled it either. Says he'll get around to it next month. Its been two years now.

I read this article the other day about how streaming services are basically banking on people forgetting to cancel their subs... and it made me think of people like us @parker_palmer44 who just let it slide. Like Crunchyroll probably knows half their subscribers aren't even watching. I heard the CEO actually bragged about their low churn rate in some earnings call. It's honestly kind of depressing how much money we throw at stuff we don't use just because it's easier than hitting the cancel button.
