That $60 Crunchyroll subscription I never used
I signed up for Crunchyroll back in February thinking I'd finally watch all those classic shows everyone talks about. Three months later I had only watched like 4 episodes of One Piece and one random rom com that was fine I guess. Every time I opened the app I just scrolled for 20 minutes and couldn't pick anything. Meanwhile my free YouTube anime review channels kept me more entertained than the actual paid service. I finally canceled it last week and added up what I spent - $60 total for basically nothing. Has anyone else paid for a streaming service and then just... not used it?

Wait, you actually made it through 4 episodes of One Piece? That's kind of impressive honestly, I couldn't even get through the first one with how slow it starts. @avery_flores17 I totally get what you mean about the subscription making you not want to watch stuff though, it's like the pressure of having access to everything just paralyzes you or something. Man, $60 for basically nothing hurts to think about, but I've definitely done similar things with Patreon subscriptions I forgot to cancel. Maybe it's just me but having that monthly charge sitting there actually makes me enjoy free content more since there's no guilt about wasting money. At least you caught yourself after only a few months instead of letting it go for a whole year or something.

That "only watched like 4 episodes of One Piece" is way too relatable. I did the same thing with Netflix last year, paid for it for like 5 months and only watched one season of some cooking show I didn't even finish. It's like having the subscription makes me not want to watch anything.
