Last month, our club in Austin was watching a popular shonen series, and everyone kept saying the filler episodes were pointless. I actually liked them because they showed the side characters getting more screen time. Things got heated when I said this during our Thursday meeting, and two members almost quit over the argument. My old book club in Phoenix fell apart over whether to read the sequel to a popular novel, so I get it. Gibson.avery is right, these small fights happen everywhere, not just anime.
