TIL my Crunchyroll queue has 47 shows I'll never watch

I opened my Crunchyroll app last night to find something new, and noticed my queue was sitting at 47 titles. Every single one I added over the last 2 years thinking 'I'll get to that someday.' It hit me that I keep adding stuff out of hype or curiosity, but I really just rewatch Bleach arcs on loop. Has anyone else had to clean out a massive backlog and actually start fresh?

My buddy Mike had 62 shows in his queue and finally just deleted the whole thing cold turkey. Told me it felt like clearing a cluttered closet, now he only adds stuff if he's gonna watch it that week.

That bit about "clearing a cluttered closet" really hit me. I used to think having a big queue meant I was keeping up with anime or whatever, but honestly I was just hoarding recommendations like digital clutter. Last week I finally deleted my entire list and it honestly felt like a weight off my shoulders. Now I just add one show at a time and if I don't start it within a few days, I let it go.
