TIL that binging 12 episodes a week makes me forget half the plot by Sunday

Used to marathon every new season in one sitting, then last month I hit episode 7 and realized I couldn't name the main villain, so now I cap myself at 3 episodes a night, has anyone else tried splitting a season like that?

Back in college I tried doing the same thing with Breaking Bad and ended up binging three seasons in a week, then I took a nap and woke up thinking Jesse was a cop. The cap thing works until one episode ends on a huge cliffhanger and suddenly it's 2am and I'm three episodes deep telling myself "just one more".
