Used to skip every opening and ending, changed my mind after finishing Frieren in 2 days
Honestly I used to hit that skip button the second any OP started, just thought they were filler ads before the real show. Then last month a buddy in Denver told me the Frieren ending song actually changes meaning as the story moves, so I quit skipping and let every one play out. By episode 12 I noticed the visuals were spoiling little things about the cast before the plot did, which made the whole watch feel fuller. Now I sit through them on purpose and my watch time for a 28 episode season jumped from about 9 hours to almost 11. Ngl it's weird how much more I remember about side characters now, has anyone else flipped on this or do you still smash skip every time?

Wait you went from 9 hours to 11 just from letting the songs play? That's like a whole extra movie worth of time. I had no clue endings could spoil stuff before the plot does, that's kinda wild.
