Warning: don't binge watch Attack on Titan in one weekend

Honestly, I did this last Saturday through Monday and it messed me up bad. I started at noon on Saturday thinking I'd watch maybe 10 episodes, but by 3 AM I was still glued to the screen. The plot twists just kept coming and I couldn't stop. My eyes felt like sandpaper by Sunday morning but I pushed through all of season 3 in one day. By Monday afternoon I finished season 4 part 2 and I felt genuinely hollow for like three days after. The show gets super dark and heavy, and cramming all that drama and death into 72 hours is just not healthy for your brain. Has anyone else ever binged a whole series like this and felt kind of depressed after?

Man that sounds rough, I feel you. Binging a show that heavy in one weekend is like mainlining pure emotional damage, your brain doesn't have time to process any of it. Hope you're feeling better now, that hollow feeling does fade after a few days.

and honestly the weirdest part for me was how it changed the way i looked at my own life for a few days. like i wasn't just sad about the story, i started seeing all my normal routines through this darker lens and second guessing everything. it's kind of scary how fast your brain can adopt a new viewpoint from just watching people on a screen. takes a solid week to shake that off and feel normal again. glad i'm not the only one who gets that hollow feeling.

Oh wait, I'm pretty sure season 4 part 2 is only 12 episodes lol.
