Why does nobody talk about skipping episode intros on Crunchyroll?

I was 40 episodes into One Piece before I realized you can double-tap the screen to skip the 4-minute recap. Has anyone else been wasting half their life on filler intros?

Double tapping the screen is a lifesaver once you figure it out. On mobile you can also just swipe left or right on the video to skip forward or back which is way faster than messing with the bar. Another trick is if you're on desktop you can press the left or right arrow keys to jump ahead by like 10 seconds each time which helps with those long recaps. Honestly the worst part is when you accidentally skip past the intro and into the actual episode and have to rewind because you missed something important. But yeah for One Piece specifically you're basically saving like two hours of your life per arc by skipping those recaps so it's worth getting the hang of it.

Three hours is a lot of time to save, but I actually like the recaps for shows like Attack on Titan where so much happens each episode. @tessa_murray I get why people skip them for One Piece though, that show has like a million episodes.
