A line cook in Denver told me to stop over-saucing my plates

He said customers want to see the food, not swim in it. I cut back 30% and got fewer returns in the first week. Has anyone else gotten feedback that forced you to change a habit?

Sauces hide dry food though @william_garcia plates need that cover.

Ha yeah I heard a chef say "you eat with your eyes first" sounds like that guy was right lol.

Same pattern everywhere now, packaging sells the product not what's inside.
