I need to say sorry to a guy I cut off in traffic near the Tacoma bridge last Tuesday.

I was rushing to get my kid from daycare, saw a gap, and took it, making you slam your brakes, and I've felt bad about it all week because everyone says you should just forget these things, but I think that's wrong. Has anyone else held onto a small apology like this for days?
