That "heartbreaking" part is the key. It means you already knew deep down you were owed those apologies, so seeing them listed just confirmed it. The moment of realization is just catching up to a truth you've been carrying.

Okay but like, three years is a long time to hold onto a list. Maybe they just needed to vent on paper and then moved on.
