you told your friend chemical pest control was better and he still won't talk to you? man, I told my neighbor his homemade compost stunk and now he leaves his trash cans in front of my driveway every week.

Three years ago I told my sister that her organic bug spray wasn't working on her tomato plants and she should just buy the stronger stuff from the hardware store. She got so mad she didn't speak to me for six months and even now she still brings it up every time we're at a family dinner. I swear people get way too attached to their gardening methods. I learned my lesson though, now I just nod and smile when anyone talks about their pest control choices. It's just not worth losing sleep over a few bugs on some vegetables.

Man, @vera_lewis2, you hit a nerve with that one. I told my buddy his homemade beer tasted like dirty socks and he still brings it up four years later. Some folks just take their hobbies way too personally. You're smart to just nod and smile now. Is it worth the drama over a few bugs or bad beer? Usually not.
