I wrote an apology letter to my old neighbor and never mailed it, but I read it out loud

After the argument about the fence line, I typed a whole letter to Mr. Henderson last month. I printed it, but I chickened out and didn't send it. Instead, I read the whole thing to my dog in the backyard. Just saying the words 'I'm sorry I yelled' out into the air made my chest feel less tight, even though he never heard it. Has anyone else gotten a weird kind of relief just from putting the apology into the world, even privately?

Articles always make stuff sound worse than it is. How many deer are we really talking about here.

Bet on it being another one of those "we're all gonna die" articles that turns out to be nothing. They always pull out some big scary words like "migratory corridors" and show a picture of one sad squirrel by a fence. I'm with @skyler_jackson27 on this, it really wasn't that big of a deal. Most of those animals just went around the fence or found another route. They made it sound like the entire local deer population was gonna forget how to walk south for winter, but I've seen them hopping over way bigger stuff in people's backyards. It's just more noise.
