My cat knocked over my grandma's urn last Tuesday and I need to apologize to her spirit

I was trying to vacuum under the couch and my orange tabby Pancho zoomed in, knocked the urn clean off the shelf, and now I owe my grandma a proper apology for letting her ashes get mixed in with the dust bunnies - has anyone else had to write a letter to a deceased relative over a pet disaster?

Honestly, "vacuuming up grandma" hits different when you think about it. Ngl, that's basically my life story right there. I accidentally sucked up my grandma's favorite throw pillow while cleaning last week, and now she jokes that I'm trying to erase her memory one dust bunny at a time. Tbh, I'll probably end up vacuuming myself into a corner someday, surrounded by the chaos of my own family's junk. It's like we're all just one big, messy inheritance waiting to be tidied up. At least if I go out that way, it'll save them the trouble of cleaning my room.
