Unsent letter to my old roommate about the time he tried to cook ramen in a coffee maker
I still have the apology note I wrote you after I laughed so hard I cried, and I never gave it to you. It was 2019 in our apartment on 5th Street, and you swore the coffee maker trick would work because you saw it in a video with 50,000 views. I tried to tell you to just use the kettle, which takes 3 minutes flat, but you spent 40 minutes cleaning noodle water out of the filter basket. The part I feel bad about is that I filmed the whole thing and posted it, and it got 200 likes, and you didn't find out for 6 months. I'm sorry I made your kitchen fail into content, even if the kettle was right there the whole time. Has anyone else written an apology for something they turned into a joke first and felt bad about later?
Laughed at this because I once microwaved a hot dog until it basically exploded and then made my sister clean it up while I took pictures. Still feel bad about that one, and she brings it up every Thanksgiving like clockwork. At least your roommate's noodle water came out of the filter basket eventually.
