Okay but like, how many times is that actually going to happen? For most people it's just finding drafts around windows or seeing if the cat left a warm spot on the couch. That's a lot of money for finding a draft you already knew was there.

Honestly, my buddy got one and it saved his butt last winter. His heat was acting up and he found a cold spot in the wall where a pipe was about to burst. Would you use it enough to make it worth it, or is it just a cool toy for a week?
