Finally Measured the Before and After on a Dryer Vent, and I Was Off by 20 Minutes
I started timing my dryer cycles with a stopwatch just for fun around March, and a unit in Beaverton that took 72 minutes to dry a normal load dropped to 48 after I pulled out a clog of lint the size of a softball from the elbow behind the wall. What got me was the owner, Dana, saying she almost bought a whole new machine because she thought hers was dying. Took me 15 minutes with a vent brush and a shop vac, and her electric bill for the laundry room probably thanks me too. Any of you start tracking cycle times as a sales pitch, or does that just make customers think you are padding the job?
