Just realized the old tech at the parts counter in Boise was spot on about my dryer vent run
I was ready to swap the thermistor on a Whirlpool dryer after it kept tripping the thermal fuse every 3 weeks or so. This older guy behind the counter, Dale, told me to hold off and just check the exhaust run first. Sure enough, the flex duct behind the unit had a crushed elbow hidden behind the baseboard, and clearing it out has kept the thing running for 4 months now. Anyone else get talked out of a parts swap like that and end up glad they listened?
