Seeing a washer shake apart a floor from skipping the level step
Just fixed a unit where the shaking wrecked the tile because the install was rushed. Honestly, it's dumb to ignore such a basic fix that takes seconds. Do y'all get tired of these easily avoided calls?

Isn't it crazy how skipping one simple step causes so much avoidable damage? Reading what @wendyb59 said about that concrete floor in Tempe really drives it home. I've walked into jobs where the shaking has not only ruined floors but also rattled drain lines loose. It always ends up costing way more time and money to fix than just leveling the thing right in the first place.

Man, that's wild. I read a whole forum thread once where a guy's washing machine "walked" right through a drywall wall because it was never leveled (like, full on left a machine-shaped hole). It really does seem like the smallest skip causes the biggest mess. Pats66 is totally right about it being like burning money, you'd think the shaking alone would set off alarm bells. It's one of those things that seems obvious after it breaks, but I guess some people just hit start and walk away.

Saw a unit in Tempe last month that shook so hard it cracked the concrete floor. Guess some folks think 'level' is just a suggestion, like using turn signals. The repair bill was more than the washer cost, all for skipping five minutes with a bubble level. Makes you wonder if they also skip the 'add detergent' step.

Concrete floors cracking? That's next level crazy. @elliot_bailey mentioning drain lines rattling loose just adds to it. How do people not see the shaking and think something's wrong? Skipping a five-minute check leads to thousands in repairs. It's like they want to burn money for no reason.
