Watched a fridge compressor job go from nightmare to smooth in 2 years

Back in 2022 I spent 6 hours fighting a friggin' compressor swap on a Samsung because the new part wouldn't seat right and I had to keep shimming it. Now the same repair takes me under 2 hours with better guidance from parts suppliers and a YouTube video that showed the exact trick. Has anyone else noticed replacement parts fitting way tighter than they used to or is it just me?
