That week I took down a 90-foot cottonwood in Boulder almost wrecked me

Started Monday morning with a routine removal on a big cottonwood behind a house off Pearl Street. Things went fine until Wednesday when a spar split on me during a drop, sent a big limb crashing through the neighbor's fence. Cost me $400 out of pocket for repairs and lost a whole afternoon dealing with the homeowner. By Friday I was so beat I nearly backed my chipper into a ditch. Has anyone else had a week where one tree just fought you every step?
