That's insane is right... I read somewhere that Roman coins were often stamped with the emperor's face to show everyone who was in charge at the time. @wesleyb20 has a point about the curse though, returning something that old to its home feels like you're asking for bad luck. Honestly I'd be checking my pockets every five minutes for the next month.

Miles is right about the curse thing. Imagine dropping a coin some Roman person actually used to buy bread, right back into the ground of the city that got buried. It's like you gave it back to the ghosts. That coin was out for almost 2000 years and your trip put it right back where it started. Feels like you messed up the timeline or something.
