Had a weird night at Foothills Observatory where the seeing was perfect but my camera kept fogging up

I thought I finally nailed the focus after 45 minutes of tweaking, then the lens fogged over again and I lost every single frame of the Orion Nebula I shot that night, has anyone found a reliable way to stop dew from ruining a whole session?

Try wiping the lens with a dryer sheet before you head out.

Tried this last weekend and it actually worked way better than I expected... made a huge difference with the fogging.

Heated dew shields are your only real solution, I wasted too many nights before buying one.
