Spent big on a solar filter, now I never shoot the sun in white light

Dropped $150 on a dedicated H-alpha filter after squinting at sunspot photos for two years. The detail in a single prominence shot beats everything my old setup ever produced. Anyone else regret waiting that long to upgrade?

Was white light even worth it before, but man that first flare shot changed everything for me.

Friend of mine swore white light was just for saving battery, boring stuff. Then his first flare shot caught a group of enemies hiding in a corner, totally lit them up. He said the whole screen went bright, he couldn't see anything, but his teammates just wiped the floor with them. Now he's all about saving flares for the final circle, never shoots them early. Says it's the most satisfying thing in the game, honestly made me want to try it too.
