Stacking my telescope shots beats any single long exposure I've tried

I spent 6 months doing 5-minute single exposures of the Orion Nebula and got okay results... switched to 30-second stacked frames last week and the difference in detail is insane. The software aligned everything perfectly and I pulled out way more dust lanes. Have you guys found stacking worth the extra setup time or is it just me?

Switched to stacking a year ago and never looked back.

About 3 months in I almost quit because my back hurt from lifting all those bags. @milam48 hope your spine is holding up better than mine.
