Hand impact driver beat my $200 cordless impact on a rusty Honda caliper bolt last week
Working on a 2004 Accord with 180k miles in my driveway in Tacoma. The lower caliper bracket bolt was rounded and rusted solid. I hit it with my Milwaukee M18 for 10 minutes, nothing. PB Blaster, heat, still nothing. Grabbed the old hand impact driver I bought for $22 at a swap meet, one good whack with the hammer, bolt spun right out. The cordless just torques, the hand one shocks it loose. Sometimes the dumb tool wins. What's your go to for stuck bolts when air and electric both fail?
