Just found out most people are over-torquing their oil drain plugs
I was helping a buddy swap oil on his 2015 Civic last weekend and he cranked that plug down way past spec, like 40 lb-ft when it calls for 29. Has anyone else seen this cause leaks or stripped pans in their shop?

Doubt it's THAT big of a deal, most guys run them tight and are fine.

Wait, have you actually measured belt deflection on different saws or just guessing?
