Oh man. I read a thread once where a guy swore you could use a drill and a drywall screw to fix a stripped lug nut. @lilya76, your friend's brother and that guy would get along great. The real kicker is they always act like they've discovered some secret mechanic hack, not like they've just ruined a perfectly good part. That confident smile while handing you a bolt with no threads left is a special kind of frustration.
