That ABS tone ring fight in my F150 took 3 days

I swapped a rear wheel bearing on my 2011 F150 and the ABS light would not go away. Turns out the tone ring on the new bearing was slightly bent from shipping, which I didn't catch until I pulled everything apart for the second time. It took me about 3 days of chasing wiring, grounds, and sensor gaps before I finally took the caliper and rotor off and spun the ring by hand. Saw the wobble plain as day, and a new bearing from the local parts store fixed it in 2 hours. Has anyone else wasted a weekend on a brand new part that was bad right out of the box? I normally check everything, but I trusted that one too fast.
