The brake bleeder valve I stripped at 6pm on a Tuesday in Peoria
Customer came in right at close with a spongy pedal. Old Civic, rear caliper bleeder was seized. I gave it the usual PB Blaster and a 8mm wrench, snapped the head clean off. Shop was empty, parts store closed in 20 minutes. Ended up drilling it out and using a reverse extractor, took me 45 minutes but got it done. Customer was waiting in the lobby the whole time watching. He just said 'I appreciate you sticking with it.' That one moment made me slow down and actually think about how to handle stuck bleeders instead of forcing them. Anyone else got a favorite trick for getting a rounded bleeder out without pulling the whole caliper?

Reversed drill bits are basically just expensive hope in a tiny package... until that Tuesday when they actually work and you feel like a wizard for a solid ten minutes.
