Watched a guy drive off with worn tires after I advised against it, and I'm stewing
I told him it was a HUGE risk, but he said he couldn't afford it right now. Now I keep wondering if I should have refused the service entirely.

Oh man, that's the worst feeling! I had a neighbor ask me to check his brakes, and the pads were totally gone, metal on metal. He drove it for another week because payday was Friday. I still get nervous hearing squeals now.
