I thought auto shipping reviews were mostly fake, then I tracked 3 companies over 6 weeks
I always figured most auto transport reviews online were paid or written by the company themselves, so I ignored them for years. Last spring I needed to move my Subaru from Phoenix to Seattle and decided to actually test this out. I booked with three different brokers at different price points and kept a simple spreadsheet of every call, text, and pickup window they gave me. The cheap one quoted $850 and went silent for 9 days before pushing my pickup back twice. The mid one at $1,100 showed up 4 hours late but the driver sent me a photo of my car loaded on the truck, which none of the others did. The most expensive at $1,450 actually answered the phone every single time I called, and that alone was worth something to me. Has anyone else kept notes like this on a move, or am I the only one who tracks this stuff?
