Question about the auto transport broker who called me 38 times in 3 days
Booked a move from Tucson to Kansas City for my Civic last month and gave my number to one broker. Big mistake. Counting the calls on my phone log: 38 in 3 days. One guy left a voicemail at 6:47 in the morning just breathing, then hung up. I finally answered one and he acted like we were old friends. "Ready to lock in that rate today, buddy?" I asked him which company he worked for and he said "the one that got your quote." That narrowed it down to about nine of them. I ended up going with the very first broker who never called me back twice, and the car arrived in 4 days with no damage. Is blowing up someone's phone normal in this industry or did I just pick a weird one?
