I finally read my extended warranty paperwork after 3 years and found the maintenance clause I blew off
I bought a used 2018 Civic in 2021 and paid $1,800 for the extended plan, then went 14,000 miles past the oil change interval twice because I figured who cares. When my AC compressor went out in Fresno last spring, they denied the $1,400 claim because I couldn't show the scheduled maintenance records. So here's my question: is it worth fighting these denials or should I just eat the cost, and does anyone actually keep every receipt for this stuff?
