Hit 10,000 wire terminations without a single reject last Tuesday
I've been doing avionics bench work for about 12 years now and I keep a little tally in my notebook of terminations. Last Tuesday I finished up a harness for a King Air and realized I crossed 10,000 without a single failed pull test or continuity issue. It just kind of snuck up on me because I wasn't even trying for a record. Kind of wild to think back to my first year when I'd mess up D-sub pins every other week. Anyone else track random milestones like this or am I just weird?

My record is 12 years without labeling a single coffee mug.

Mission accomplished on the mug front, but my track record with labeling food in the break room fridge is about as bad as it gets. I had a sandwich disappear last week because I forgot to write my name on it, classic rookie mistake. Maybe that's the real test, keeping your lunch safe for a full decade.

The sandwich loss is real, happens to the best of us lol. I had a whole container of homemade soup vanish once, my name was on it but someone peeled the sticker off and claimed it was theirs. Brutal way to learn that the break room is basically a survival zone.
