Last Tuesday I had a perfect 8 hour shift where every connector seated first try like a dream.
I was rewiring a 737 nav antenna and every single D-sub pin crimped clean on the first go, no retries or chasing shorts, has anyone else had a day where the whole job just clicked without a single hiccup?

and that feeling just sticks with you the rest of the week, doesn't it? i've had shifts where everything lined up like that, and it almost feels like the airplane itself is cooperating for once. you just get in that flow state where your hands know exactly what to do before your brain catches up. it makes you wonder why every day can't be that smooth when you're working the same job, same tools, same aircraft type. but then the law of averages kicks in and you get three days in a row where every connector fights you and you spend an hour chasing a ground loop.

You ever think those smooth days are actually trying to trick you into forgetting how bad it can really get though... like the airplane is just setting you up for the next nightmare shift.
