PSA: Just logged my 100th hour on the new Garmin G5000 trainer and the software glitch count is wild
I was running the standard nav data update cycle on the simulator last Thursday and the system logged 47 separate minor faults in a single 4-hour session, mostly tied to the synthetic vision overlay. This isn't just a random bug, it feels like a core database conflict that could cause serious display lag during an approach. Has anyone else running the v2.1.3 software seen this many faults pop up in their diagnostic logs?

Sounds like the "synthetic vision" is more synthetic than vision at this point.

Saw a pilot forum post about a 300-foot error in the Rockies. That lines up with what hernandez.mark said about it being fake. Makes you wonder if the raw map data is just bad.
