Rant: That flickering nav light circuit finally behaved after I swapped the relay.

Spent half my shift on it, but seeing it stay steady felt pretty good.

Guess spending half a shift on a single relay seems like a lot. It's just a light, not like you rebuilt the whole system. Feels odd to celebrate something that should just work normally anyway.

Yeah, I just keep a spare relay now like quinna89 said.

Right? It's crazy how these little things eat up so much time. I remember dealing with a faulty outlet that took me all afternoon to trace, and it turned out to be a loose wire anyone could have missed. Celebrating that feels like patting yourself on the back for remembering to breathe. Sometimes the simplest fixes are the most annoying because they shouldn't be problems in the first place. You just end up feeling relieved it's over, not proud.

Totally get that. Spent three hours once on a leaky kitchen faucet, and the whole issue was a single worn out washer the size of a dime. You don't feel skilled, you just feel DONE. That kind of relief is real.
