The engineer who told me my wire routing was 'aerodynamically inefficient'

Had a QA guy in Fort Worth pull me aside last Tuesday and say my bundle ties were creating too much drag on a Gulfstream G550 belly panel. I've been doing this for 12 years and never once heard that from a real mechanic. Dude probably read one book and thinks he's smarter than the guys who actually fly these things. Anyone else deal with engineers who have never touched a plane giving you garbage advice?

Is it bad that I still can't figure out how to route my phone charger without it looking like a tangled mess in the car, so an engineer critiquing my aerodynamics just feels like a personal attack on my whole life? I bet his desk has more coffee stains than my toolbox has grease, and he's probably never even seen a rivet up close. That kind of advice would make me want to ask for his pilot's license number, but I'm guessing he's never logged a single hour.

Get some Velcro cable ties. They're a game changer for car chargers, trust me.
